Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models, algorithms, and systems to address complex business challenges across various domains like Myntra Recsys, Search, Vision, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Pricing, Forecasting, Trend and Virality Prediction, Generative AI, among others.
• Apply theoretical knowledge and practical experience in machine learning, with expertise in areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, recommender systems, and optimization techniques.
• Develop robust and reliable software solutions for deploying machine learning models.
• Support the team in maintaining machine learning pipelines by assisting with tasks such as data cleaning, feature extraction, and preliminary model training.
• Participate in monitoring the performance of machine learning models, utilizing statistical methods for evaluation and analysis.
• Collaborate with Data Platforms teams to understand and gather relevant data.
• Conduct performance testing, troubleshooting, and tuning of machine learning systems as necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in research and technology, and share knowledge across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or 1+ years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in Python or another high-level programming language.
• Strong theoretical understanding of statistical models such as regression and clustering, as well as machine learning algorithms like decision trees and neural networks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning.
• Experience in developing machine learning models using Python or a similar programming language.
• Basic familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Introductory understanding of statistics and its applications in machine learning.
• Ability to manage and prioritize workload while supporting the manager effectively.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
